Course topics

  • Module 1 – General. Materials, Equipment, General Soldering, Cleaning, Rework and repair (Mandatory)

  • Module 2 – Wires and Terminals Connections

  • Module 3 – PCBs, Conformal Coating, Encapsulation and Staking

  • Module 4 – Through-Hole Mounting & Terminations (requires Module 3)

  • Module 5 – Surface Mounting of Components (requires Module 3)

  • Module 6 – Inspection

Module 6 is designed for quality and Inspection personnel that have no requirement to solder, So no requirement to complete Modules 2, 3, 4 and 5.
